I decided to try painting the previous drawing as an exercise. It took me a couple of hours and here`s the result. I hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed doing it!

PS: I have seen a lot of artist use silhouettes firts for their compositions.. why do they do this?.. how do you do it?..

Hey Ricardo, sorry I didn't show up last class. But I drew the cat position studies and I am already thinking about the crown design. At least I got to paint this week. Every week I have a Gouache color scale to do. And since I got the size of the damn thing wrong, I got to paint everything twice! Ho-Ho It's always lovely...not.

Bog: Thanks dude! I`ll post the finished Android Illustration soon. The great advantage of using silhouettes is focusing on the overall shape, design and readability without worrying about minor details. It`s a great exercise. Try it out!!
